We are the North Hampshire Downs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

12.5 miles. Starting at Gomshall station the walk stays in sight of the North Downs for much of the way, passing Wotton church, the fringes of Westcott before climbing Ranmore. From there it skirts the massive Denbies vinyard on the way to Westhumble and the river Mole. We skirt the base of Boxhill and finish at Dorking Deepdene station.
Stops for refreshments are planned at Wotton Church and Ranmore, where there is normally a reasonably well-stocked coffee trailer.
As previously, the plan is to start and finish at Basingstoke station travelling by train to Gomshall and back from Dorking changing at Woking and Guildford. Meet at 08.15 to catch the 08.30 Waterloo train. This is earlier than the online ticket sellers show for a Gomshall arrival at 09.52. I've added in some time, in case trains are late and connections are missed. Trains only stop at Gomshall every 2 hours!
