We are the South Shropshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts with a short steep climb into Kinsley Wood then traverses the wood to reach Offa's Dyke. We follow the undulating dyke path for about 2 miles before turning back to Five Turnings and Stowe. The whole route is on rolling hills and offers fine views across the Teme valley.
The whole walk is virtually on grassy paths with no road walking, plus a handful of stiles. There is one short but steep climb into Kinsley Wood at the start, and also one steep climb and descent on the Offa's Dyke path itself and you can expect undulating hills for the rest of the route. Please note the parking is at the bottom of Kinsley Wood on the main track (SO 298 727).
The parking is on the main track just after you enter the wood from the A488 Knighton to Clun road.
