Overview

Fourth section of the Church Stretton Skyline Walk. We shall start from the National Trust car park at All Stretton; the same car park as we used for the first leg of this 4-part walk. Our route takes us up to Little Caradoc and a possible coffee stop. We then descend fairly steeply and then along a track that runs under the Lawley. At the end of this we may meet a heard of friendly Highland Cattle - see photo. Over the Lawley and then back to our start and the completion of the Church Stretton Skyline walk.

3:30 pm
Difficulty:
Strenuous
Distance:
15.3km / 9.5mi
Ascent:
609.6m / 2000ft

circular

We cut the third leg short for safety reasons, as a consequence, this walk is longer, and the height ascended is greater, than originally planned. The walk will be strenuous for those not used to walking such distances.

It's a great walk, with particularly good views towards the Long Mynd.
