We start at the Recreational Ground at Oliver's Battery and walk gently downhill and up to the Yew Tree nature reserve for wonderful views of the Downs. Here there are two stiles. Mostly, we walk on well worn tracks, and partly in tree shade.
Parking is in the Oliver's Battery Recreational Ground car park which may be used by dog walkers so car sharing will be helpful.
One part of the walk uses a steep downhill track so poles could be useful. In May there should be no mud!
A small dog would enjoy the walk if it can be lifted over the 2 stiles.
To join this walk, please register with the contact by the previous day.
