Romsey Ramblers provide the opportunity to walk around 6 led-walks each month across Hampshire and into adjoining counties. Typically, our Saturday walks are around 5 miles and within 15 miles of Romsey. Midweek walks are a little longer, usually between 7 and 10 miles and may be a little further afield.
Our walks are graded as leisurely or moderate to suit varying abilities. The grading depends on the level of difficulty, ie the terrain; number of stiles and surface conditions.
Our aim is to help local people enjoy walking and to protect the places we all love to walk. We organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.
