Walk Cambridge is an active walking club and social group, aimed at working age people living in Cambridge and the surrounding area.

Starting from the entrance to Orford Quay Car park near the Jolly Sailor Inn (IP12 2NU), we make our way through the picturesque village of Orford to St Bartholomew’s Church which dates from 1166.
Walking past the church, we follow footpaths and make our way to the edge of the Tunstall Forest walking past the ancient Sudbourne Church and opportunity for lunch. We then follow the sandy tracks and footpaths leading to the River Ore with excellent views of Orford church and boating on the river. Follow the course of the river Ore back to Orford and opportunity for drink in the pub or riverside café.
We aim to meet at 11.00am at the entrance of Orford Quay Car Park on the road to Quay opposite the Jolly Sailor Inn, IP12 2NU. The pay and display car park is £4.00 for 8 hours.
There is no obvious public transport, so if anyone would like a lift, please indicate in the meetup chat.
Please bring suitable footwear for walking next to the river.
Please bring a pack lunch and suitable clothing, (waterproofs, hat suncream etc).
