Start point is entirely thanks to Frank Rudd & Sons (wholesale tomato growers) who have very kindly given us (one off) access to their car park for this walk. Stocks Lane, Over Peover WA16 9EZ.
Turn off the A50 at the Whipping Stocks pub on to Stocks Lane. Radbrooke Hall will then be on your left. Immediately after that is the entrance to the main greenhouses for Rudd’s tomatoes. You’ll see the sign for the firm on the opposite side of the road but turn into the site on the left side of the road and park alongside the hedge. There may be construction vehicles so take care. There is just a remote chance that details may change if the construction work demands it, so please check even on the morning of the walk. The walk is virtually all on footpaths and is flat. There are 2 stiles though one can be avoided by a small detour if necessary. Both are in good condition. There was quite a muddy patch at one point but the going was good, overall. We will take a footpath near the junction between the A50 and Stocks Lane, leading to Peover Hall. We then take tracks to the polo field at Colshaw
Park estate. Further tracks bring us back alongside Radbrooke Hall to our start point. A very pleasant Cheshire country walk
