Sutton Reservoir & Danes Moss - Evening Walk

This is the first of the evening walks and is the traditional Sutton Reservoir walk. It is an easy 5 mile walk with approximately 200 feet of ascent. We walk down one side of the reservoir before crossing the canal and walking to Woodhouse Green farm. We then go a short distance along the road and cross the fields to Newhall farm. After a short distance on the road we cut again across fields, follow quiet tracks and eventually walk back through Danes Moss Nature Reserve and along the canal. Returning via the other side of the reservoir. Hopefully torches will not be needed but it may be a good idea to bring one!! Sutton Hall is very close and we will be calling there for a drink after the walk and everybody is welcome to join us.
