Overview

Meet beside The Head of the River pub. A linear walk along the Thames, then across Iffley Meadows where we should see fritillaries. Finish at Redbridge Park and Ride for bus connections. This is a section of the 9 mile Thames and its Meadows walk, joining part-way; if you wish to join please contact the organisers late morning on the day for an up-to-date estimate of starting time. The walk is entirely bus-accessible. If you drive, we suggest parking at Redbridge Park and Ride (charges apply), taking a bus to Oxford centre then no. 6 bus to Wolvercote. Alternatively, park at Wolvercote, then return by bus as described. Thames Path likely to be muddy in places. Oxford Walk Leader KF 01865 765078 / 07855 426060
