Meet at 10.30 at the main entrance to the free car park of the National Trust Oxburgh Hall and Estate; Oxborough, near Swaffham, Norfolk: PE33 9PS.

Walk description
From the free car park we follow Eastmoor Road to meet up with a footpath at Eastmoor Bridge. We then follow the footpaths along field boundaries to the nearby village of Gooderstone. The route follows the course of a narrow stream of the River Gadder over small bridges and stiles.

We Stop for lunch outside St Georges Church at Gooderstone where there is also a pub. We then make our way back to the village of Oxborough.

Optional: visit to the National Trust Oxburgh Hall, tearoom and park after the walk:

After the walk there is the option to visit the National Trust property and tearooms of Oxburgh Hall. The cost to visit the Hall and Estate is £13.00 payable to the National Trust on entry (Free to National Trust members). There is in addition a walk of 2.5 miles through the estate.

Please bear in mind that the free National Trust car park of Oxburgh Hall can get full quickly. Alternative parking can be found in the village and along nearby Eastmoor Road.
