Overview

The walk starts at 10:30 near the railway station and up the Oxford Canal to Port Meadow. The return route will be through the city. We are hoping to have refreshments is a college cafeteria at the end of the walk.

Meet in Oxford in Frideswide Square outside Said Business School which is 100yards from Oxford Station. If travelling by train catch the 9:11 Elizabeth Line from Langley, 09:15 from Slough, 09:18 from Burnham, 09:21 from Taplow or 09:24 from Maidenhead to arrive in Reading at 09:38. Transfer to platform 9 for the 09:48 train to Oxford to arrive in Oxford at 10:15. Alternatively you could drive to a park and ride and catch the shuttle bus into the city centre. If you do not have a railcard then arrange to buy tickets in a group of 3 or more and take advantage of group discounts of 33%
