Walsall Group of Ramblers has been around since 1992 and in that time we've introduced many people to the joys and benefits of walking with the Ramblers
The walk visits three historic houses of very different character (Packwood House, Baddesley Clinton and Wroxall Abbey) and three churches. It returns up the Grand Union and Stratford Canals passing the attractive Kingswood Junction. Joint walk with Sandwell Ramblers and Wolverhampton Ramblers.
We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 09:00am. The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Walkers should check on www.walsallramblers.org.uk that the walk has not been cancelled before leaving home.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
York's Bridge on the B4154 between Pelsall and the A5 Turf Island will be closed on the date of this walk.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.

Car park opposite McDonald's, Daw End Lane, Rushall, Walsall.
Packwood House NT car park, Packwood Lane, Solihull. M6 towards Coventry, at junction 4A take slip road and keep R to join M42 towards Warwick. Leave M42 at junction 4 and take A3400 to Hockley Heath. In Hockley Heath bear L onto B4439 Old Warwick Road, pass turning for Lapworth on R, take next L and find car park on R.
