Description

From Kingsmeadow Car Park, walk along the River Tweed through Hay Lodge Park, passing Neidpath Castle towards Lyne Station. We cross Lyne Water, pass Barns Tower, cross Old Manor Brig then up the brae to Manor Sware Car Park. We then cross down through the wood along the Tweed to return to Peebles.

Meeting Point:
Currie Library at 8.45am for 9.00am departure. Or meet at Kingsmeadow Car Park in Peebles (EH45 9EN) for 10.00am start

Travel Directions:
From Library, left at Gillespie Cross Roads onto bypass for Berwick on Tweed. At Fairmilehad, take A702 onto Biggar/Carlisle Road. Take slight slip road onto A703, then A701 at Gowkley roundabout, then A703 onto Peebles Road. Coming into Peebles, turn right at roundabout onto A72.  At the end of the High Street, turn left onto B7062 over the Bridge and Kingsmeadow Car Park is on your left.
