Overview

This walk start along the River Wye at Redbrook before a steepish climb towards Penalt through Lower Hael woods and up onto a tranquil Plateau above the River Wye.  We then head towards a 12th century miniature medieval church anchored to the side of the famous gorge before heading back down towards the River and return to the start.

The terrain is a mixture of footpath wooded trails some quite stoney and road walking, there are a few stiles.
