An easy, level walk along the mostly well-surfaced multi-user path that forms part of The Wales Coast Path.
We’ll start from the car park at Penclawdd opposite GGs Gelateria and head east along The Wales Coast Path as far as The Rake and Riddle where we will stop to buy a coffee in the pub.
Our return will be along the same path as our outward journey.
Once we return to Penclawdd, we can stop for an ice-cream in GGs.
Fish and Chips are available across the road at the chip shop.
Directions: Take North Gower Road (B4295) west from Gowerton to Penclawdd. The free car park is on bend in road by corner Chip Shop.
Public Transport
The 116 Bus can be used to join this walk but check the bus times before travel. If you wish to do just half the walk, there is a bus stop near to the Rake and Riddle.
Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to GGs Gelateria.
