Tiger Bay Ramblers (TBR) is a walking group for people of working age. It is based in Cardiff but walks across South Wales and beyond.
An after picnic walk.
Starting from Penderyn we take a quiet back route to the famous Sgwd Yr Eira waterfall and cross under it. A steep climb and gentle descent then take us to further falls before retracing our steps - crossing under the waterfall a second time.
If the weather is good there may be opportunities to swim in the river.
The second part of the walk takes us round and over Moel Penderyn, just 371m high but with great views. Then we drop down through country lanes and return to our starting point on a disused railway.
The large layby just north of Penderyn Distillery. Please do not park in the distillery carpark, which is only for their customers.
