Overview

Heading south from The Rock and Fountain Inn to St. Bridget’s church (site of a medieval village). We then follow lanes and meadows toward Magor before crossing fields to the ruins of Pencoed Castle. Continuing through Penhow Woodlands National Nature Reserve and fields we will return to Penhow Castle, church and the Rock & Fountain Inn.
