Overview

A 7.5 mile circular walk through the lovely countryside southwest of Amersham. We start from Holy Trinity church car park on the edge of Penn Wood which belongs to the Woodland Trust. There are a lot of woodland areas throughout the walk so it's ideal if the weather is hot. There are a few steep but short inclines. No pub stop, but cream teas will be served at the church when we return to the start.

If coming along the A404 from Amersham, Penn Street village is a turning on the left, and the entrance to the car park is then on the right before you get to the common.
