Pang Valley Ramblers is a friendly group, open to all in our local community; we walk in countryside around Reading in Berkshire, much of it within an AONB.
Meet at Peppard War Memorial Hall , Gallowstree Road, Peppard Common, Oxfordshire RG9 5JA. Bus from central Reading Pink route 25, stop FJ in Friar St leaves at 9.45am, stops nearby at Peppard stores at 10.13. Turn R on leaving bus, head to crossroads, turn L into Gallowstree Road and Peppard War Memorial Hall is a short way down on RHS. Return bus at 21 minutes past the hour. Car parking available at hall, in nearby roads or at the crossroads. This walk passes through woodland with a chance to see some autumn colours and also some open countryside. There are some gentle inclines and declines and some of the paths may be slippery if wet. There is an opportunity to shorten the walk slightly if the weather is unfavourable..
