Overview

Start from the free National Trust car park in Simon's Wood in Wellingtonia Avenue (B3348). Nearest post code RG45 6AE which is on the opposite side of the road to the car park, what3words outer.fortified.caves The walk is on paths beside farmland and through two areas of National Trust woodland near Finchampstead. A mostly flat walk with two stiles and one short steep climb near the end giving views over the Blackwater Valley.
