We are the Redditch Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a mostly low level walk (with 3 stiles all in poor repair) walking along the Avon before reaching Tyddesley Woods and then through fields crossing numerous footbridges. The ground is undulating. Leaf mulch and mud add to the risk of slipping (walking poles recommended). This walk takes in part of the Millennium Way. Some road walking included as are some inclines. The walk ends at Pershore Abbey & the return to the car park is through the town.
Please note there are no facilities on this walk so bring a packed lunch & drinks. The Abbey is open until 5.00pm if people wish to spend time here after the walk. Likewise there are plenty of pubs & coffee shops in Pershore town centre.
