We will start from St Andrews Bus Station and walk round to the Students Union (approx, 5 minute walk) where we will catch the bus number 64 at 10.05 from St Andrews to Ceres (travel time 40 mins). The actual walk starts at Fife Folk Museum in Ceres. Terrain: Starts with farm tracks and paths. Tarmac sections in minor roads (no pavements) from Ladeddie steading to Denhead (approx 1.5 miles). From there to St Andrews via Craigton Country Park, forest track through Craigton Den and then through Lade Braes alongside Kinnes Burn. Arrive just south of West Port, following South Street to the cathedral. Please bring a packed lunch.
Note: For those parking in St Andrews there is a free car park by the university at the first roundabout approaching St Andrews but if this is full there is a car park in Argyll Street which is £3.80 for over 4 hours and bus stop is just a short walk from there.
Max elevation 206.5m. Highest point Kinninmonth Hill (161m)
Good way markers throughout, but Walk Highlands provide excellent route description.
