Overview

A short 5 mile walk, pre. the Beverley Group's AGM. The walk starts from the "All Hallows Church" car park in Walkington and follows a well defined route up to the Risby fishing ponds, before returning back to our starting point

After the walk refreshments will be provided in the village hall from 14:30, after which the AGM will start at 15:00, to be followed at 15:30 by a talk given by Edith Denton, the ERYC National Trails Officer for the KCVIII coastal path and Wolds Way

If you are new to the group please make yourself known to the leader before the start of the walk.

  • Well behaved "Dogs on short Leads" welcome.
  • Please ensure you have emergency contact details either on yourself or within your backpack.
  • Please check back on the day for any last minute changes to the walk, using the Ramblers website at https://www.eastyorkshireramblers.org.uk/ or the Facebook page, link above.
  • Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day, bringing refreshments and a pack lunch, as there will be short refreshment stops and a lunch break
