We will start and finish the walk at Reed Village Hall.
Following well established footpaths, Farm trackways, byways and bridleways we travel East from Reed towards the edge Barkway before returning by a different route to Reed. The Walk crosses the Meridian twice, but no rituals are planned to mark these events. The route takes us along the ridge on the South side of the Rhee valley and so is mostly quite level.
Some of the paths are rutted and occasionally a bit slippy, others have an excellent surface. If you are inclined to walk with sticks it is worth bringing them to this walk.
