We are the Ramblers Northampton. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Circular walk from the Old Crown pub in Ashton taking in the villages of Roade and Hartwell. We will walk on parts of the Midshires Way and the Northampton Round.
Please only park in the car park of the Old Crown if staying for the Xmas meal afterwards (you will have pre-booked). At the time of writing, there is no access to Ashton from the A508 but there is access through Roade. If you encounter traffic issues en route, and it is safe to do so, please let others know via the WhatsApp group 'Ramblers walk offers' (Northampton group).
The walk is mainly across fields so is like to muddy and potentially slippery - please come prepared!
