Overview

Starting and finishing at Putney Bridge Station (District Line). Walk along the Thames Path to Kew Bridge - cross the river - and return to Putney Bridge along the south bank. A very flat and mostly paved walked although the south bank is liable to flooding which can get muddy. Loads of interesting historical associations en route including one of the latest Banksy artworks. The full walk is just over thirteen miles but there are several drop of points along the way that are close to public transport so that you can elect for a 3, 5, 6, 7 or 10 mile options.
Expect to encounter Bishops, Brewers, Gardeners, Engineers, Poets, Painters, Politicians, Rowers, Composers, Dancers, Storm Troopers, Footballers, Actors and the English Civil War.
