Overview

UPDATE: The junction of Suffield Lane and Littleworth Road is blocked due to roadworks. Only access to the Top Car Park is via Puttenham village. However SCC have put up mis-leading Road Closed Signs at the Puttenham end of Suffield Lane. To get to the Top Car Park you need to ignore the Road Close Signs at the start of Suffied Lane.

This circular undulating walk begins with dramatic all-round views southwards towards the Sussex border and Crooksbury hill. We will walk past Rodsal Manor and the very scenic Cutmill Pond which was created as a hammer pond during the 16th and 17th century to serve the iron industry before heading towards Crooksbury Hill and Binton Wood before returning along part of the North Downs Way.

This walk will be at a moderate pace and there are several hills, some steep along the walk.
