Something a little different: a linear 6.5 mile walk from Worcestershire Parkway Station to Pershore Station, following one of the published 'Rail Trails' (see weblink). We will travel to Worcestershire Parkway by bus and then follow a route that goes via Wolverton, Peopleton and Pinvin to Pershore Station. We plan to finish the walk here and catch the 13:28 train back to Evesham, but there will be the option, for those who wish, to extend the walk by another 2 miles into the centre of Pershore, where there is a variety of pubs and cafes, and then catch the bus back.
It is a pretty easy, flat walk on a mixture of paths, tracks and some minor roads and with few stiles. We might meet some livestock and, being summer, it is possible some paths could be a little overgrown. Bring refreshments for a snack break. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads.
