Starting from the free car park on Parfitt Drive Farnsfield, we will head over the fields towards Grieves Lane where we will turn right and follow the lane before turning right and taking the path up to Coombs Wood. The path is quite steep so great care must be taken with footing and there is a slightly awkward positioned stile so care must be taken with crossing. After leaving Coombs Wood we cross back over the fields onto Coombs Lane where we will stop at the Halifax War Memorial for a snack and drink. We will then venture back into Farnsfield to Parfitt Drive.
Optional meal at the Plough Inn. Lunch is served.
