We would love you to join our walk this week that sets off in this canalside village and follows public footpaths and lanes to Lapley and then along the Staffordshire Way to the canal that will lead us to Brewood. We return around Belvide reservoir and through fields and bridleways to Wheaton Aston. This is a lovely rural area but is cut across by the A5 which we will need to cross. The walk is mostly flat but is inclined to be somewhat muddy if we have had rain. Only 2 stiles this week!
As usual we will have short stop for coffee and a snack after the first hour or so, then we will have a longer break for eating our packed lunches. There are no facilities at the start or throughout the walk.
Would guest walkers please contact the leader so we can look out for you.
We are sorry, but only assistance dogs are permitted on our walks.
For our regular walkers there is no meeting at Hednesford this week, unless you decide to sort this out among yourselves!
