We are Herts Weekend Walkers, HWW for Short . We are aimed at people who are normally working during the week and can usually only find time to get outside and enjoy a walk at the weekend.

Overview

We meet in the Car park at Redbourn Cricket Club on the Common. We head off in the direction of Knott Wood using the old Nickey railway line footpath. After walking alongside  Knott Wood we then pass the Rothamsted Research Centre heading towards Hatching Green. We then turn right along West Common before picking up the footpath in the direction of Beesonend Ho before descending back to Redbourn for refreshments at the Holly Bush PH at the bottom of the Common in Church End AL3 7DU.

 There is no need to pre-book or contact the leader in advance. If already a Ramblers member, please bring your Ramblers card (or membership details on the app) as we submit a register to Ramblers before we start the walk.

Walkers who are completely new to Ramblers are welcome to attend up to 3 walks prior to joining, after which we will ask that you sign up to become a member.

If the car park is full, please park with courtesy around the village.
