We are the Cleveland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Circular walk approx 6 miles. Assistance dogs only.
We will walk along the beach in the direction of South Gare for approx 1.5 miles then turn to use paths behind the dunes, passing the 'horizons' sculpture before carefully crossing the golf course at the footpath sign. We walk across the road and into Coatham Marsh before crossing to Locke Park then heading back to Majuba Road. Approx 6 miles
There are many wild flowers in the dunes and various bird species at the marsh and in the park.
There will be a ten minute break. Please feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy.
Note that there are charges at Majuba car park and the newer Coatham Bowl car park. Both are £4 for 3 hours, £6 all day. Car parking on esplanade is all chargeable. There are free car parks at weekends a short distance away at Kirkleatham Street ( large car park only) and around the registry office/ library buildings. Please check signage in case of any changes.
