Through Barkway and Barley to Nuthampstead, returning through Barkway. A very popular walk with some attractive cottages and fine views over the countryside.
Bring a picnic. Brief pub stop at lunchtime. Optional car share from Barnet: Victors Way Car Park, EN5 5TR - W3W: rocks.gain.votes. Departs sharp at 09:00 (34 miles).
Reed. About 1.1 miles north of Buckland, turn right (east) along Church Lane and park in the north end of the layby by St Mary's church. There are no church services that day, but if we fill the layby, there are a few spaces on the verge in the next turning on the right - Driftway, or further up Church Lane.
