Reigate Heath and the base of the Downs!

We head across the Heath and up towards the Downs via Clifton's Lane, walk along the bottom of the Downs to then return via Colley Lane. A pleasant mix of lanes, tracks and footpaths with some ups and downs, and, after the long period of dry weather, a short section with some pronounced tree roots to negotiate. Bring poles if you use them! Possible post walk drink at The Black Horse (the bar is cashless) as we pass near the end - return to the car park from here is a short easy stroll along Flanchford Road.
