We are a friendly, socially active Ramblers Group welcoming all who enjoy walking. Our walks programme is extensive and varied covering all days of the week.
This walk postponed from very muddy January and yesterday (05/03) was still pretty muddy, so boots / poles still recommended! Loos just at road junction near walk start point. Attractive countryside route with woods, views, mill/ponds, park - and a pub lunch at The Skimmington Castle, or picnic. Bring covers for muddy boots in pub. Before starting the walk, we'll count up how many wish to have the pub lunch (1.30 pm) and let The Skim know ... do join us!
