Overview

Please contact the leader to join the walk, this helps the leader and provides your contact details in case of late change. If then you are unable to attend, please cancel with leader (phone or text) so they are not waiting for you. Thank you.

From Castleton we cross the fields to Odin Mine, ascend the old road to Mam Farm and climb the grassy path, some mud, up to Hollins Cross approx 600ft. We then follow the ridge Black Tor (this is a steep climb up rock steps about 90ft) to Lose Hill. Descending back via the Hope path via Lose Hill Farm, then turning west to Spring House Farm, Losehill Hall and the Study Centre into Castleton.
