The walk begins with a tour of the spectacular Gower Coast from Rhossili to The Knave, where we will have lunch. After lunch the walk will return to Pitton & thence Fern Hill Farm before striking out across Rhossili Down to the dolmens of Sweyne's Howes. From the Northern Howe the Crest of Rhossili Down will be gained & return to the start at the National Trust car park will be made upon it.
A chance to take in the outstanding scenery of Gower's South West coast.
A chance to visit the burial chambers, which are more than 3000 years older than the 11th century warlord Sweyne after whom they are named.
The return to the car park affords views over the South West Wales coast at least as far as Tenby.
