Overview

The walk first follows the river Allander along a rough and somewhat overgrown path till joining the river Kelvin, from here on the path is good and way marked, following the river Kelvin till the end at the transport museum where the Kelvin meets the Clyde.

Meet at the pier, Rothesay, 6.45 to catch the 7.05 ferry. Please don't buy a ticket until the walk leader confirms walk will proceed. Train to Milngavie to start the walk at 10.05. Anyone wishing to join from the mainland please be at Milngavie station for 10.05 .
