Overview

Starting at Hurst Grange Park in Penwortham this is a minimum mud, no stiles route. It uses disused railway lines, parkland paths, riverside walkways and other well trodden tracks to meander across to Miller and Avenham parks in Preston and return to Hurst Grange. There is some disruption to the route due to the construction of flood defences and the installation of the new tram bridge but nothing too serious.
