Overview

This circular walk offers good views of the Ochils and Lomond Hills.

Starting from Swanston car park, we are going to follow a trail passing some stables and Swanston Cottage. We will continue along a stony track heading south, gradually ascending to the bealach between Allermuir Hill and Capelaw Hill. We will then take a path branching off to the right, skirting around the right side of Capelaw Hill. On this walk, we’ll enjoy views of Bonaly Reservoir and Torduff Reservoir before heading back to Swanston car park.

Please note that the route includes several stiles and gates.
