Overview

Special 'Pop-Up Walk' - Local Bus and Car meet. (please car share where possible).

This walk is open to all Ramblers members and our Facebook followers.

We walk from the centre of Rothes heading East with Ben Aigan in the distance, we walk along the River Spey for a short while with views of Ben Rinnes, then we head West passing the castle remains. After passing the Golf Club we walk up through Wood of Conerock with views on Corryhabbie Hill. We keep heading West and cross The Burn of Rothes before heading back into town along the Speyside Paths Network passing The Linn Waterfall.

Good walking boots are essential, gaiters, waterproof jacket and trousers and poles are advised for the decent. Bring food and drink.

All walkers must carry some form of ICE (In Case of Emergency) identification. This includes your name, mobile number and next of kin contact name and number.

Sorry, no dogs allowed on this walk.

Toilets: there are toilets at the start of the walk, but not on the walk route.
