A flat walk with no stiles, plus a boat ride. Boat ride costs £3.00, please bring correct cash. Ferry takes a maximum of 12, so depending on numbers may take more than one trip to get everybody across.

Clockwise north to the mud flats south of Fishbourne, then south (coffee break), then east to Bosham and south along the shore to the ferry. Lunch immediately after crossing the Chichester Channel on the ferry (public toilet available), then back to Apuldram via Chichester Marina.

Outside the Crown and Anchor pud at the end of Dell Quay Road. If coming from Portsmouth, take the second roundabout off the A27 Chichester by-pass, and turn right (south) onto the A286. After almost exactly 1 mile, turn right into Dell Quay Road until reaching the shore opposite the Crown and Anchor pub. You can't park in the pub car park itself, but the over flow parking is on the north side of Dell Quay Road near the pub.
