Walk from Kithurst Hill to Findon, via Washington and Chanctonbury Ring, returning past Chantry Post
Via Sullington to cross the A24 via the bridge at Washington. There is a climb back up to Chanctonbury Ring for a coffee stop.
Lunch stop at Findon which is approximately 8 miles from the start. There are pubs and a green area with seating. Followed by a much more gradual ascent to Chantry Post and the South Downs Way.
Kithurst Hill car park is on the South Downs, east of Amberley. The access road leaves the B2139 about 0.95 miles east of the turning for Rackham. There is no sign post when approaching from the west from Amberley but there is a sign heading west from Storrington
