Overview

A wonderfully varied walk from Rowsley to Birchover and around with great views, pasture, parkland, heathland and woodland, encountering peacocks, alpacae, the nine ladies stone circle and the river Wye. A steady climb in the morning with undulating descent in the afternoon. Underfoot is a real mix of firm tarmac, wet muddy tracks and fields and rocky woodland and moorland tracks.
