We are the Ryedale Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From the Market Square this New Year circular walk heads north through Millfield Park and over fields to Thornton Hill Lane. After a short walk along the road our route takes us north east to Thornton Lodge Farm, before which we will take a short stop for drinks before heading over fields towards Oulston. On reaching the village we head west along a lane in the direction of Husthwaite where we will stop for lunch before heading south on our return to Easingwold. After a short walk along North Moor Road we reach a footpath which takes us back to Millfield Lane and to the cars in the Market Square.
