A circular walk from the town centre. Following the Cleveland Way towards Rievaulx. Continue on road, over the bridge to Ashberry Farm. Footpath through Ashberry Wood to Bow Bridge and on to Rievaulx village. Ascend to the terrace entrance then follow paths back to Griff Lodge. Return to Helmsley via Duncombe Park.
Parking available at the start (charge payable) or on street behind church. Poles useful for two short steep ascents.
