We are the Plymouth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will loop around Churchtown Nature Reserve and head to Forder. Coffee stop at Forder Village Green. Then to Burraton Combe, Tincombe Nature Reserve and past Walfreton Field. Down Fore Street and via the Celtic Cross to Waterside for our lunch break. Along Coombe Road, then Coombe Woods before heading back to Churchtown and returning to St Stepen's Church.
Fine views of the Lynher and Tamar, (if weather is on our side!) A mixture of terrain- field paths, woodland paths, quiet lanes and a little on the pavement. Various ups and downs! Paths may be muddy.
Car parking is on street and free.
Option to pick up a pasty from one of the shops on Fore Street for your lunch.
Also could have refreshments in the Cecil Arms ( just by Stephen's Church), at the end of our walk.
