We are the Arun-Adur Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A long, flat, leisurely walk through scenic seaside villages, including a boat trip across Chichester Harbour from Bosham to West Itchenor. The walk starts at Fishbourne Recreation Ground which has free parking and toilet facilities. There will be a little bit of road walking but mainly it will be walking through fields and by the coast, with stunning views of Chichester Harbour and the opportunity to see the coastline from both sides of the Chichester Channel. The ferry costs £3 and there is the opportunity to pay by card.
Please bring a picnic, but there will also be the option of buying drinks/food from The Quarterdeck Cafe on the shoreline at West Itchenor. There will be a morning break at Bosham and also a short afternoon break at Dell Quay. Toilet facilities available at the Fishbourne Centre, West Itchenor and Chichester Marina. No Dogs.
Please park at the first carpark on LHS at the entrance to Fishbourne Centre (Fishbourne Recreation Ground)
Take first carpark on LHS on entering the site from Blackboy Lane.
