A train ride and walk to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Stockton and Darlington railway.

Meet at Shildon railway station to take the 10.30 train to Heighington (the world's first railway station!) (fare about £3.50).

Walk back to Shildon across farmland visiting the Locomotion museum. (free)
