We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk from the Martello Tower on Seaford seafront. Hilly in parts. Walk along the Cuckmere before a steep climb up to High and Over for fabulous views on a clear day. We’ll stop at Litlington for a picnic lunch at half time; coffee, toilets and food available at the Cadence cycle hub https://cadencecycle.club/litlington.
After lunch we’ll walk to Exceat via Westdean and the Vanguard Way before returning along the cliffs via Seaford Head.
Accessible by public transport, bus and trains and a short walk to the seafront. Free parking on the seafront.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers.
